So I had the opportunity to pick myself up a set of the 20V Dewalt Drill/Drivers. They came in one of those new stackable Dewalt tool boxes, which was also nice to see how that system works. I don’t think they sell them in the
I’ve used the larger drill drivers such as the Milwaukee and the DeWalt 18V models, those batteries were NiCad, massive and they finally burned out along with the drivers. I put one Milwaukee and two Dewalts thru the ringer and they held up well, but all finally gave up the ghost. Each one of those old drivers in itself was well over a C-note and then an extra battery was close to $90. And believe me, that was a NUMBER of years ago. I ain’t no spring chicken here.
These new units are much smaller and easier to handle, the batteries are Lithium Ion so they also are much smaller with a lot more power than the old ones. With the light
